Man is alive, has free will and no innate ideas or "instincts." Therefore man must focus his mind and reason to discover a guide to life, morality, just like a farmer must focus his mind to plant seeds and harvest wheat. There is no rational justification for morality as a guide to the sacrifice of life. Identifying contradictions in sacrifice is not important. There is no rational justification for even discussing sacrifice except to identify the basic fact that its not a guide to life. Sacrifice is a product of the unfocused mind.
